Adventure in Philadelphia

Students in 9th & 10th grade had the opportunity to go on an adventure just before Christmas break! After leaving SCA early in the morning, the students had the opportunity to spend a whirlwind day exploring the beautiful and historical city of Philadelphia. The day started at the Liberty Bell, followed by a tour of Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed. After that, the students walked several blocks to the Reading Terminal Market to enjoy many different kinds of cuisine and drink from around the world. Finally, the students walked to the Walnut Street Theater, one of the oldest theater companies in the country. Some of the students came along to get some inspiration for SCA’s production of “Annie” this spring (April 26-29) while others were there to just enjoy the afternoon at the theater. It was a great day of fun and adventure that the students will be sure to remember for a long time to come!
