Beautiful weather for soccer again and a very good win for the Eagles tonight. Adam Clemens continued his scoring ways tonight as he scored both goals to propel the guys into the win column with a 2-0 win over the visiting Knights. After possessing the ball for most of the first half and what seemed like endless opportunities to score, Clemens scored with 3:58 left in the first half on a nice cleanup from Jed Stuck. BCS came out strong in the second half and what seemed like a reversal of play, they possessed the ball for most of the second half as they fired off eight shots on keeper Alex Santiago. With full pressure from the BCS offense the Eagles defense was getting a good workout. After several missed opportunities by BCS, Clemens found a hole in the BCS defense to put the game away with his second goal of the evening with 47 seconds left on the clock.

All the Lady Eagles saw action today as they posted a 7-1 victory over Bloomsburg Christian School. Cierra Gross, Marissa Spangler and Rachel Snyder each found the net twice and Jess Stuck added a late tally for her first goal of her Eagle soccer career. Torri Erdman, Andria Savidge and Brandy Schroth provided the assists. It was a fun game for all as the coaching staff changed formations and mixed the lineups to see how the team responded to playing different positions.

Both teams will be playing at the Balls Mills Soccer Complex in Williamsport on Friday night. Girls play at 5:30 and the boys play at 7:15. Come on out to cheer both teams on as they play under the lights.
