CCCS at SCA

Despite a slow start resulting in an early 3-0 first half deficit, the Lady Eagles pulled it together in the second half and held CCS at bay with some good defending and more shots on goal. A momentum shift in the second half through tough, aggressive play proved very positive for the Lady Eagles as they put more pressure on the CCS defense, but were unable to find the back of the net. Join us on Thursday at Bloomsburg Christian School for another exciting afternoon of Lady Eagles soccer.

The Eagles started off with strong offensive pressure against the visiting Defenders but did not capitalize on the opportunities that were created. As the game wore on the momentum started to shift as CCCS started to play with more confidence. A missed mark allowed a clear shot at the net as CCCS went up 1-0 early in the second half. Despite 14 shots and 10 corners the Eagles could not get the ball in the net. Late in the game a mishandled ball fell into the SCA net as the Eagles found themselves down 2-0 as the clock ticked down.
The Eagles will need to regroup and shake off the loss as we head to Bloomsburg Christian this Thursday.
