High School Curriculum

The academic program of the high school is a curriculum that encourages students to work in subject areas challenging them to evaluate and critique the material from a biblical worldview. This program provides training in the liberal arts and sciences and stresses independent thinking, writing, critical reading, discipline, and creativity while preparing students academically for college or the workforce. Homework and outside preparation are required.

Classes include: Bible, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Advanced Math, Calculus, Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science/Ecology, English, Composition/Journalism, Civics, World History, U.S. History, 20th Century History, Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, Physical Education and Health.

Students are also encouraged to select from any of these electives: Art; Chorus; Creative Living; Probability & Statistics; Drama; Spanish I, II, III and IV; Yearbook, Desktop Publishing; Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator and Accounting I and II.

As students move through the academic curriculum, they are encouraged to grow personally, intellectually and spiritually. Our goal is to graduate students who are motivated and equipped to use their gifts and abilities to serve the Lord wherever He chooses to place them.
