SCA at Bloomsburg

The Lady Eagles won the game of possession today as they earn a 6-1 win today. Abby Daddario opened the game up with two goals early into the first half. To finish the second half, Sarah Spangler tallied one in the goal column off an assist by Brinna Baumert. 34 seconds into the second half Bloomsburg answered with an unanswered goal. The Lady Eagles who continued to control the game with solid possession had three more goals from their young forwards, Faith Gingrich, Cierra Gross and Brianna Baumert added to her offensive statistics tonight as she finished the scoring off tonight for the Lady Eagles.

The boys team started off a little slow tonight as Bloomsburg scored first only three minutes into the game. After gaining their composure SCA’s Branden Sheaffer tied the game up five minutes later. Things were starting look bad as Bloomsburg responded with a quick goal just minutes later to take control of the game at 2-1. The Eagles defense started to buckle down and the offense opened up at the Eagles scored the next five goals. Scoring was spread out as goals came  from Branden Sheaffer, Taylor Edwards, Karch Carey, Blake Spangler-Jones and Tanner Gutelius. With a comfortable lead of 6-2 the Eagles continued to control the game throughout the second half. Bloomsburg was able to put one more in during the final minute of play with the game ending and the Eagles tallying another win with a final score of 6-3.
