SCA hosts Columbia County Christian

Elementary night is always a fun night, if you missed it plan on attending Senior and Family Night on Friday, February 3rd. The 2nd and 3rd graders played a 5 minute game during the half-time of the girls varsity game and the 4th and 5th graders played during the boys varsity half-time. These kids were great and a lot of fun to watch. There was some nice passing, some great shots and to see these kids actually sink a basket is an amazing feat, the basket must seem like its a mile away from their perspective.

The JV boys offense was hot tonight as they finished with a 55-22 win. The JV boys remain undefeated at 8-0. The varsity girls were led by Carissa Erdman’s 21 points as they cruised to a 67-28 win in ACAA league play. The Lady Eagles also had contributions from Abby Daddario (18 pts.) and Tiffany Billing (10 pts.). The varsity boys trailed Columbia County through the first half but went into the locker room only down by 2 points. The eagles came out and pulled ahead during the third quarter. Columbia County was able to hold off the persistent eagles as the varsity boys finished with a 50-43 loss. The varsity boys were led by Ashton Bartlett’s 15 points and Adam Clemen’s  14 points.

Next up is a an away game Tuesday night at Watsontown for the varsity boys.
