Six SCA Girls make final round in the WGRC Annual Youth Talent Competition

WGRC Annual Youth Talent Competition

Recently, local Christian radio station WGRC  held its annual Youth Talent Competition.  Six of our students competed and made it through to the semi finals.  On April 25,Tiffany Billings, (soloist), and Reverie (group) consisting of Ciara Chappell, Courtney Gross, Courtney Maurer, Katie Goecke, and Emily Beck traveled to Christ Wesleyan Church, Milton to perform before a panel of distinguished judges featuring Jamie Slocum, popular Christian recording artist.  After hearing positive remarks from the judges, the girls had to wait for several hours before learning they had been chosen to go on to the finals. They travel next to WGRC, Lewisburg on May 17 to compete against the other finalists.  Their songs will be recorded and the listening audience will text in to choose the winner.

All participants in the final round will be given a radio sponsored shirt and a music CD. The winner of each division of the final round will win a musical prize pack, be featured on the show “Get Real”, participate at WGRC day at Knoebels on August 9th (www.knoebels.com), and will receive a one song recording session from Songcrafters studio (songcrafters.com).
