T & D’s Cats of the World

“And God said, ‘Let the land produce living creatures
according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that
move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according
to its kind.’ And it was so. God made the wild animals
according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that
move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.” Genesis 1:24

On September 28, 2nd and 3rd grade students participated in a field trip to T&D’s Cats of the World in Penns Creek, PA. Students got up close to lions, tigers, bears, all sorts of different monkeys, lemurs, emu, an albino raccoon, a wallaby, and even Arctic foxes. The foxes were still gray, but will be turning white as winter arrives.

One interesting fact is that T&D’s is a refuge for animals that have been hurt or abandoned by their owners. All of the animals at T&D’s would not make it on their own in the wild.

All of the students enjoyed a beautiful day as they witnessed the diversity of God’s creation.
