The Sound of Music

The hills were definitely alive at SCA – our performances of “The Sound of Music” were smashing successes! Over the course of four performances we had over 950 guests visit SCA to watch Maria teach the vonTrapp children how to sing. Praise God for the blessing of great performances—we’re already looking forward to next year! We would like to offer special thanks to the following people for making this year’s show extra-special:

Tim Latsha- for giving of his time and talents to work with and accompany the students
Tricia Gutelius- for wonderfully decorating the lobby and dining room
Shelley Heffner- for directing the students as they served the meal
Bill Clawser- for designing and building the scenery and set for dinner theater
Dennis Morgan and his crew- for preparing each evening’s dinner theater meals
Deb Manney- for directing choreography and coordinating the drama cast “Green Room”
Rachel Jones- for providing violin and guitar accompaniment
Sandy Erdman, Lillian Fahringer and Elizabeth Novack- for assisting with table setting and dining room service
Jen Latsha- for preparing meals for students during rehearsals
PARENTS!- for praying, volunteering, providing rides to/from rehearsals and other means of support for the show

God has blessed the students at SCA with remarkable talents and “The Sound of Music” was a remarkable way to showcase them!
