Great finish to the season as the guys took a 2-0 win over Watsontown Christian Academy. The Eagles have been on a late season surge as they have won six of their last eight games. Today’s rain soaked game scoring opened up when rookie Derek Mathews found the left corner of the net  with 16:30 left in the first half from a Tanner Gutelius cross. The Eagles continued to put offensive pressure on WCA throughout the second half and were looking for that assurance goal. Better late than never, senior Adam Clemens found the back of the net with a beautiful header from a Blake Spangler-Jones cross with 3:32 left in the game. The Eagles finish the 2013 season 9-10-1. Not too bad considering the injuries that have plagued the team since preseason.
